Hey Everyone! We at GuestBook are constantly working hard to make the site, and application, as easy and straightforward as possible. Now you have a chance to tell us what you think. November is “Feedback month” at GuestBookMe.com, and we are looking for everyone to send us your comments, complaints, ideas, questions, and anything else on your chest that you think will make this site better. After all, GuestBook is powered by users like you and was built for you, sort of a new “FUBU” for u by u idea. Keep checking the site and send in your ideas as they will be heard and will be helpful. Promoting Your Venue
A lot of people have emailed us, asking for a quick explanation on how to use GuestBook. I will attempt to do so right now in less than 5 sentences, to give you the most precise, factual guide possible. In fact, I’ll post everything step by step tutorial:
- Register (or login) to GuestBook
- Click “Create GuestBook Ad” along the left menu
- Choose the ad type, new or recurring. Note: Recurring ads can ONLY be created for ads that were already created.
- Enter the party variables, and upload a picture for the party if you chose to.
- Preview the party and click the submit button.
That’s It! We have tried to make the process as streamlined as possible, so you spend less time creating and more time enjoying new party goers attend your events. Like always, if you have any comments or suggestions about the process, you can always email me at tony@guestbookme.com . Thanks and Keep GuestBookin’!

Facebook Gets More Serious About Security
Just recently Facebook announced that it will be cracking down on spammers and child molesters in an effort to make the widely popular site safer. They have received numerous complaints from the New York state attorney general’s office as well, and will be investing heavily into security to comply. What does all of this mean to you as a user of GuestBook? We here at GuestBook take security and safety very seriously, and will be obiding by any new rules set out by Facebook. Ads that are illegal or promote illegal behavior will be removed immediately and account suspension may follow.
“We want our users, both Facebook and GuestBook, to have the highest quality party surfing experience possible”, said GuestBookMe.com VP of Operations Marc DiLoreto. “There is no reason anyone should feel uncomfortable using GuestBook. Clubs promote cool parties, people find cool parties, and everyone is happy”. Over the next few weeks we will be implementing new practices to help make the ad creation system even easier, as well as a refer a club program. As we strive to make GuestBook the best online party promotion system available, we welcome your thoughts, comments, and feedback. Please contact Tony at tony@guestbookme.com for more details.

GuestBook Keeps Chuggin’ Along
What a crazy month! It has been almost one month since we first launched GuestBook in the Facebook application directory, and what a month it has been! From receiving numerous compliments and accolades from our users to seeing growth of almost 600 users, and even a few buyout offers, GuestBook continues to work hard to get you hooked up to the hottest parties and events in your area! October has been growing even faster as more and more clubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and now even Fraternities and outside companies looking to throw parties and promote on Facebook are turning to GuestBook. There was even an article in Business Week Online today about the frenzied growth of Facebook apps, which you can read by going to http://www.businessweek.com/smallbiz/content/oct2007/sb2007108_307252.htm. With growth like this predicted, as well as Facebook’s staggering development and now the 7th mosted visited site on the web, it is no wonder why so many companies are turning to GuestBook for their promotional needs.
Remember, we are always looking to do new business with your bar/club/restaurant/etc. and welcome the opportunity to do so. Please visit our site at http://www.guestbookme.com or contact Tony at tony@guesbookme.com for more information.
